Assistant Engineer – Rail work
KCM Recruitment Ltd are currently seeking civils engineers with in excess of two years post graduate experience to work on a rail rehabilitation program stretching from the East to the South of country.
The project will last a number of years and your employment will be directly with the client
You will be based out the central office in Laois but will need to travel to different locations on the line between Dublin and Cork.
You will also be engaged in night shift and weekend work also as much of the work is constructed during off peak travel times.
Outside shift work, standard hours will be 36 hrs per week and allowances and overtime will be paid for shift work. A vehicle will also be provided.
You will be working within a project team and will report to a project manager.
Works will entail the planning, supervision, and reporting of essential rail and track works along the line.
The role would suit a civil engineer with a level 7 or 8 qualification who would like to develop a career in the rail industry.
No experience in rail work is required albeit civil engineering experience would be needed
