Alpine Recruitment has partnered with an International Tier One Building and Civil Engineering Main Contractor, who seeks to appoint x2 highly skilled Senior Planners for a DC project in West Dublin/M50. Our client has been to the fore in the construction of various flagship projects throughout Ireland and abroad including sports stadiums, healthcare facilities, airports, motorways, and hi-tec/pharma/datacentres. Capabilities includes Retail, Pharmaceutical, Renewable Energy, Infrastructure, Hi-Tec/Life Science, Residential, Healthcare, Education, and Hospitality with projects ranging in value up to €400 million.

Job Description Senior Planner - West Dublin / M50
Oversee project scheduling, allocate resources, and track progress. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines, resolve scheduling conflicts, and optimise project management using advanced software and contract expertise.
Responsibilities:
Planning and Program Management:
- Develop and manage comprehensive contract programs with critical path analysis.
- Create construction and subcontractor procurement schedules, including design releases.
- Maintain electronic records for efficient document retrieval.
- Generate 4D/2D models to illustrate build sequences and manage program-related risks.
- Develop tracking schedules for subcontractor program production.
- Maintain as-built program, identify deviations, and facilitate change requests.
- Leverage 4D/2D data to provide real-time progress status updates.
- Generate validated output rates for real-time project progress and new tenders.
- Conduct peer reviews for planning department consistency.
- Lead planning and program management efforts and provide program updates.
- Oversee assistant planners' development through Personal Development Plans (PDPs).
- Contribute to contract program assessments and report weekly/monthly program status.
- Ensure document quality and coordinate with subcontractors and the project team.
Requirements:
- Professional degree or equivalent in construction management or related fields.
- Planning and program software certification.
- Advanced contract knowledge, including JCT and NEC contracts
- Proficient in contract management software, including Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6.
- Proficient in effective collaboration with construction project clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing Planning teams.
- Previous DC / Pharma / Hi-Tec experience would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite
