Initial project(s) commercial( x2) in Galway
Responsibilities
Liaising with design teams, coordinating subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with company standards and program the timely submission of O&M manuals, BC(A)R procedures and other duties.
Maintain Design coordination workshops minutes of meetings and track actions
Specifications, service drawings, architectural and structural details.
Ensure that integration across the project is timely and developed in agreement with all parties, including the MEP Manager + Project / Contracts Manager
Liaise with statutory utilities providers to ensure the needs of the project and suppliers are met
Assisting QS with assessment of Sub-Contractor monthly applications for payment
MEP Testing & Commissioning Process
MEP O&M and As-Built Documentation Process
Maintaining good relationships with the Client designers, Sub-Contractors, and other stakeholders, conducive to securing future work
Deliver the project to cost, time and quality.
Relevant Diploma/Degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical or Construction Engineering
3+ years' experience
Experience in building sector projects such as Commercial, Pharmaceutical, Education etc.
Previous main contractor or M&E subcontractor backgrounds would be advantageous
Candidate must have the ability to work in teams, be an organised self-starter and possess strong oral and written communication skills
Strong IT skills – Microsoft Office packages, AutoCAD, BIM etc
