A leading contractor within the Irish construction industry are seeking a Health & Safety Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. The position is based on a Large-scale Education Development in Kilkenny. 

This company have honed their skills and experience over 6 decades within the industry. They deliver projects across Commercial, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, Hotel, Residential, Sport, Education, and the Healthcare Sectors. 

Your Role will Involve: 

• Ensure site personnel comply with safety requirements.
• Undertake site inspections.
• Prepare H&S documents, (i.e. RAMS, H&S Plans, Lift Plans, etc.)
• Ensure records are kept in line with legislation, company policy etc.
• Arrange for training for site personnel as required.
• Complete site investigations and follow up on incident resolution and make recommendations for improvement.
• Complete reports as required.

What we are looking for: 

• Minimum of a Level 7 Safety qualification.
• 3 years plus experience on construction projects.
