One of Ireland's leading Fit-Out and Building Contractors is looking for an experienced Safety Officer to join their Dublin based team.

Your Role will Involve: 

• Provide support & advice to colleagues, subcontractor personnel and other third parties.
• Ensure all H&S policies are fully implemented on site.
• Ensure the delivery of health and safety inductions for all new employees, check all relevant training is in place and recorded on site.
• Conduct regular inspections as directed in the Safety Management system.
• Ensure all plant and equipment inspections are up to date in compliance with legal obligations.
• Deliver Toolbox talks. Consult with staff on RAMS briefings, lessons learned from audits or investigations.
• Ensure proper reporting of all accidents, incidents and near misses on site and assist with the investigation and implementation of corrective action.
• Collecting relevant information for inclusion in the Safety File and preparing for handover to the Client.

What we are looking for: 

• A relevant EHS qualification at diploma / degree level
• 1 years' minimum experience in construction safety
