Job Title: Proposals Manager – Civils
Reporting to: Senior Bid Manger
Location: Dublin
Our Client is looking for an experienced Proposals Manager to write, review and co-ordinate tender proposals across the company on Major Infrastructure Projects across our civils, water and natural resources divisions. This is an exciting role with the opportunity to work on some of the largest tenders in Ireland
Responsibilities:
- Actively engaging with all members of the work winning team to develop construction strategies and work winning proposals.
- Liaise with senior managers, collating and leading the bid team for specific opportunities.
- Understand the bid timelines and develop a bid plan to meet the relevant milestones on time and steer the team to successful completion.
- Comprehensive understanding of project specific requirements ensuring these are accounted for within the tender proposal.
- Actively engage with the tender team on construction strategies, project risk profile and value engineering opportunities
- Development and review of essay plans, essays and final tender proposals
- Development and maintenance of a knowledge bank of bid material collectively with the work winning team, evidence and responses to facilitate strategic development of quality responses.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or another relevant discipline
- 5 years or more site experience
- Significant experience of writing high quality technical submissions
- Excellent industry knowledge and a willingness to keep up with trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of Civil Engineering, Health and Safety, Quality an Environmental practices and procedures is required
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal abilities.
