This is an excitingopportunity to join a company that is in rapid expansion mode. They operatefrom 2 facilities with a team of over 350 operating in a combined work space ofover 100,000 sqft. This is a permanent position offering an excellentopportunity to advance your career.  This is the ideal role for you if youare looking for a new challenge with variety in the medical devices industry.Working on new products and manufacturing processes, this will be a fast-pacedenvironment for someone who is self-motivated and keen to progress their careerleading projects and project teams.

 

This is a new role andwill report into the Technical Unit Business Manager.


Responsibilities

  • Generation of product and tooling drawings tosupport Quotations, Prototyping and Process Development.
  • Product and process concept generation,presentation, prototyping and development.
  • Support on a technical level to the Sales andMarketing Team.
  • Create assembly & project quotations andcommunicate with customers.
  • Dealing with customer enquiries and cancommunicate clearly both in written and oral communication.
  • Manage a team of graduate Process Engineers andProduct Builders.

  Qualifications

  •  Third level Qualification in Engineering orScience, preferably in Mechanical or Medical, Minimum Bachelor’s Degree 
  •  Ideally Design capability with CAD systems and Solid Edge
  • Over 6 years’ previous experience ina Medical Devices, ideally with extrusion based catheter assemblies.
