Position Summary 
As part of continued growth, our Project Management team are seeking a suitable Senior Project Manager to become part of the commercial team. Working under a Director, you will be responsible for running your own projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience in the commercial sector including office fit-outs, new build offices, mixed use developments and hotels.  There are a number of exciting projects in the pipeline ranging in value from €15m - €300m and the suitable candidate must be capable of taking responsibility for a large project, ensuring the delivery of the project within time, cost and to the satisfaction of the client and stakeholders. You will be Client facing with proven communication and organisation skills, reporting directly to the Client and to the Director of Linesight Project Management. We have many high profile developers and funds as Clients and maintaining these relationships is of paramount importance to the business. 

Role and Responsibilities 
  • Managing the delivery of projects through all phases of design, approval and construction 
  • Appointing and managing all external consultants ranging from architects, engineers, QS, planning, etc. 
  • Creating design and construction programmes for all projects 
  • Managing the selection, qualification and appointment of all contractors and subcontractors 
  • Leading project Client meetings 
  • Leading all project team meetings 
  • Monitoring and controlling variations following Client approval 
  • Monitoring and controlling the development budget 
  • Monitoring the performance of all contractors/subcontractors/consultants 
  • Ensuring that projects are completed within business objectives and within design guidelines 
Experience and Education: 

Essential 
  • 10+ years post graduate experience 
  • Degree qualified in Project Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar property/construction related discipline 
  • Holding a construction related professional membership - RICS/CIOB/APM 
  • Considerable experience in Client side Project Management Consultancy 
  • Commercially aware 
  • Strong interpersonal skills 
  • Understanding of planning principles 
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel and MS Project) 
  • Experience of managing Client relationships within a consultancy environment 
  • Experience of dealing with a variety of consultants and major contractors 
  • Experience of approaches to construction procurement 
  • Experience of administering forms of construction contract 
  • The ability to mediate in conflict situations 
Desirable 
  • Educated to degree level in a construction or construction-related subject 
  • Experience of supporting regional PM consultancy bids
