Junior Design Architect - Dublin -€28k d.o.e.

Our client, major award winning Architectural Practice is seeking to recruit a Junior Design Architect for their Dublin city offices. The successful candidate will be a focused designer, a competent technical professional and will join the specialist major projects design team, reporting directly to the Managing Director.


To be considered for the role you must: 
  • Be Degree qualified in Architecture.
  • Have 1-3 years relevant post qualification experience.
  • Have a min of 1 years design experience in an Architectural Practice (or similar).
  • Have an interest in design of modern commercial and residential projects
  • Have a working understanding and knowledge of Planning and Building regulations and guidelines.
  • Be proficient in AutoCAD and Sketch-up.
  • Have strong IT skills (Microsoft suite) and a high level of computer literacy.
  • Be confident to liaise with other disciplines and consultants.
  • Have an educated knowledge of Construction contracts (GCCC, RIAI)
  • Be proficient in the English language (spoken, written, technical). 
  • Have excellent communications skills, strong negotiation and presentation skills.

Ideally you will: 
  • Be working toward RIAI recognition.
  • Have an understanding of design for modern commercial and residential projects.
  • Be proficient in REVIT
  • Have an interest in concept design.
  • Demonstrate interior design experience.
  • Demonstrate detail design ability.
  • Have experience of working in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Have a flexible approach to work and an ability to prioritise and manage time effectively, working to deadlines where necessary.
 
The Role:

You will work in an award-winning offices for an award-winning architectural practice, in Dublin city. You will be working on major high-profile, prestigious, commercial and residential projects, where you will have unbridled opportunity to unleash your design flair, design concepts and technical capabilities. You will report to the Managing Director.

Remuneration is negotiable depending on the experience, suitability and fit of the candidate. However, the ideal candidate can expect a salary in the order of  €28k d.o.e.
