Our client is a diverse firm comprising of management consultancy and a property development services group. The firm is specifically focused on strategic direction, project management and operational services for property development businesses. The company has recently expanded to include a house building business.


Our client is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work within their team. The ideal candidate will have broad construction and property skills, be a self-starter, show enthusiasm and motivation with excellent communication and administration skills. In addition to working in the existing consultancy business the role will be supporting the new house building business and will require tasks to be carried out both in the office and on site.



  • Management of appointed contractors.

  • Performing site inspections.

  • Management of operational projects.

  • Liaising and negotiating with various Councils in relation to development sites, estate bonds and taking in charge works.

  • Facilitating Bank and Receiver requirements and implementing appropriate solutions.

  • Ensure accurate records are maintained.

  • Manage correspondence, contractual and otherwise.



  • Degree in Quantity Surveying.

  • Project Management qualification an advantage.

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years residential construction experience.

  • Professional approach to clients / stakeholders.

  • Experience of working in a client facing environment.

  • Experience of managing building contracts.

  • Sound knowledge of latest building regulations.

  • A full driving licence is required for this position.
