Project Manager - Civils/Rail

My client is a major supplier to the rail industry delivering a wide range of multi-disciplinary services across the infrastructure. They are now looking for a Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis in London.

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our growing team as a Project Manager with rail experience based in London.

The role will include management of site activity, delivery of multiple rail projects on time and to budget, programming work and resources, health, safety and environmental planning and monitoring, client and contractor liaison and reporting on project progress.

  • The ideal candidate will possess the following experience and personal qualities -
  • Will have a solid work history in a similar role, with experience working in the rail industry
  • Ability to work well under pressure and be able to deal with ambiguity
  • Experience of working with a direct workforce and organising work activities
  • Have a sound experience of building/civils works
  • Good commercial awareness including contracts
  • Computer literate
  • People management of site and office staff along with client liaison skil
  • Planning good organisational skills with priority to carry out job to a high, accurate standard
  • Will have experience and understanding of producing and maintaining a high standard of paperwork.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HSEQ
