|Azon continues to work closely with a Large Main Contractor based in Dublin. You will be reporting to the Risk, Health and Safety Manager and working on a Commercial project in the Dublin area.
Our client who are a quality focused business with smart leadership and a well-defined growth strategy who are seeking to hire a Health + Safety officer to grow with the business.
Azon has placed several people in this business and have received excellent reports back about the camaraderie within the company.
This is a new and permanent role in line with business growth and performance which will join the existing close knit team in driving further success.
This position represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health + Safety Officer that likes to get things done professionally without unnecessary rigmarole or red-tape.
In this role, you will focus on post contract QS activities and will spend some time on the project site. This will include monthly valuations, variations, payments, final accounts etc.
* Honours Degree in Health + Safety essential
* IOSH qualification desirable
* Minimum 2 years post qualification experience in construction
* Knowledge of or experience in the Construction and Pharma Industry desirable
* Qualifications or experience in the implementation of management systems in particular ISO 14001, ISO 9001 + OHSAS 18001 is desirable
* Strong multi-tasker with excellent communication skills
* Immediate start
Salary: €35,000 - €55,000+ depending on level of experience. These figures are guidelines and are open for negotiation.
