Mechanical Contracts Manager - Meath (2310)

Our client offers a complete range of quality Construction, Electrical, Mechanical and Technology services to private, public and commercial clients in across Ireland. They are currently  seeking to recruit an experienced Mechanical Contracts Manager to work with their Co. Meath based team.

Reporting to the Mechanical Division Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious candidate to progress in a fast-moving environment with a long-established, respected company. Mentoring, support and further training will be provided for the right candidate.

Primary responsibilities as a Mechanical Contracts Manager


  • Estimating / Bid Process Management.
  • Management of contracts from tender stage to completion and handover, ensuring projects of the highest quality are delivered on time, according to specification and on budget.
  • Liaison and collaboration with external design team members, architects, PQS, consulting engineers and clients.
  • Project management duties associated with above including allocation of labour and scheduling of materials, liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and site foremen.
  • Manage all project financials, progress claims, valuations and submission of final account.
  • Assist Health & Safety Manager in ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance to Health and Safety Procedures and Standards. Provide H&S leadership.

As a Mechanical Contracts Manager you will have


  • 3rd Level Qualification (Technician Level or Higher) in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering. Trade qualifications, with significant experience and further technical qualifications will be considered.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills required, including Office, AutoCad and MS Project.
  • Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.
  • Experience of Estimating Software (Esti-Mate / Conquest etc.) would be an advantage.
  • Should be flexible, hardworking and self-motivated with the ability to work well in a team- based environment.
