The Bid Manager is responsible for identifying bid opportunities, making bid/no-bid decisions, and ensuring that bids are prepared and submitted in alignment with internal procedures. This includes the preparation of content for pre-qualification questionnaires, tender responses, and presentations, incorporating company and division-specific information, references, and CVs.  The BID Manager will be working on BIDS only and will not be involved in people management.

 

Additionally, the Bid Manager supports the development of the company's information library by collecting project data and updating sector-related information. They will play a key role in preparing and formatting high-quality bids, incorporating graphics for visual impact.

What you need:


  • BID or Technical writing experience
  • Previous BID experience would be beneficial
  • Degree level qualification (Construction, Business, Marketing, Journalism)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong IT skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and Adobe InDesign (beneficial)
